Save the text file on your computer, then import the RIS file into EndNote. Sign into EndNote Online (using the link in Web of Science) and go to Collect > Import References (see top menus). This opens up a menu of options: from these, select Reference Manager. Click the arrow icon (Export) located above the search results. Note for Mac users: Direct export does not work in the Safari browser. Select/click the box next to each search result that you want to export. then follow the instructions listed in the table. To import into EndNote: Go to the File menu, then select Import. Click FILE and select the RIS file you downloaded from Proquest. Open your ProQuest RefWorks account Click + Add Choose Import references. Depending on the electronic resource you use, there will be different steps to follow in exporting and importing your references: To export: Select the desired references and follow the instructions in the table in the EndNote Import/Export LibGuide. Using Endnote Online, click COLLECT IMPORT REFERENCES. Other databases require saving to a file before importing. When you have multiple Legacy RefWorks accounts, make sure you are not logged in. Some databases such as EBSCOhost support a direct export of citations to EndNote Web.
